Now they require a high-class SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER to join a major civil project in Perth to be based north of the river for the next 12 months.
  
About the Role
  
Working as SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER in Perth, you will help manage the upgrade of pavements and ground lighting for a large existing airfield. The scope of the project will include asphalt and concrete surfacing works and installation of new communication utilities. You will join a highly accomplished project management team and as SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER you will support Project Manager by liaising with client representatives, managing subcontractors, planning & programming of works, cost control, forecasting and progress reporting, QA/QC and mentoring of junior engineers.

This role will suit a competent SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER with around 6+ years post-graduate experience (*including asphalt surfacing projects) who is looking for a Perth role. On offer will be a terrific remuneration package CIRCA $170K Base + Super, 4x4 vehicle and 10% site uplift. 
  
Skills, Qualifications and Other Requirements  

• Minimum Bachelors degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
• 6+ years’ of civil construction experience as Project Engineer/ SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER for Civil Contractors in Australia or NZ
• Previous experience as a PE or SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER on road/airport/airfield runway surfacing projects/contracts including asphalt or concrete surfacing.
• Previous Australian Department of Defence or Aeronautical Ground Lighting experience will be highly regarded
• Strong understanding of Civilpro quality management system
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Existing rights to work in Australia
• Available within 4 weeks’ notice period
• Able to furnish 2 favorable references from the last 5 years
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and DAS testing
• Current C Class Drivers Licence
