About the role:
As a Mechanical Fitter you will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement work on Unitywater’s assets. This includes assisting the Mechanical and Electrical Unit Leaders and coaching and mentoring on the job by proactively implementing processes, procedures and systems in the delivery of maintenance work on assets.

About you:

We are looking for Mechanical Fitters who have a relevant trade qualification and who are committed to adding value to customers through the work they do. We are looking for people with energy who are keen to bring their skills and experience to our industry, and to the local community. If you can see yourself as part of our team, and can demonstrate the following, then we want to hear from you:

  • A commitment to personal safety and accountability

  • A ‘can do attitude’ and ability to play well on a team

  • An interest in achieving great outcomes for our customers

  • Mechanical trade qualification

  • Experience and knowledge of mechanical maintenance trade activities

  • Willingness to share your knowledge and experience

  • Current Class C Drivers Licence

  • A willingness to obtain the relevant licences/ticket (we’ll support you to do this)
