ABOUT THE ROLE
This newly created role within our Supply Chain & Logistics department is designed to support the logistics of our international supply chain operation.
Reporting to the Group General Manager - Supply Chain & Logistics, the primary purpose of the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager will be to manage and control global distribution activities across all markets to deliver efficient and cost effective service levels. This includes working with all 7 brands on inventory planning so all Distribution Centres operate in an effective and efficient manner. This role will be required to provide knowledge and leadership in contract management, operational change, process improvement and people management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Global management of store and online fulfillment
- Oversee the complete flow within the DC environment- Receiving, Processing, Replenishment, Returns and Dispatch
- Project Management - global
- Set global budgets and control achievements of those budgets
- Execute DC stocktake & Cycle Count Program
- Optimise inventory flow and replenishment process
- Manage all freight providers performance –stores & online
- Manage third party logistics providers
- DC facility management & service maintenance
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Tertiary of MBA qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain
- Substantial years’ experience in supply chain and logistics management
- Proactive, motivated and likes working in a fast paced environment
- Have great attention to detail, works well under pressure and ability to multi task
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proven management and leadership skills
