WHAT YOU’LL DO

We have a close-knit team of 20 on the Gold Coast with a mixture of skills and experience across Transport, Structures, Water and Construction. It is a small but dynamic team! 

We are currently seeking a Senior/Associate Engineer (Transport) to join our integrated Transport Team in QLD which is expanding due to a secure pipeline of long-term work and diversity across multiple projects and opportunities across the state. Day to day you will work with state & local government authorities to deliver robust transportation solutions for our clients. From highways, arterials, local roads, intersections and roundabouts, to flyovers, bridges and tunnels, you will have the opportunity to work across both greenfield and brownfield infrastructure developments.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Engineer who is looking to take the next step in their career especially with the recent wins the team has secured across the state. This role will offer a balance of business development, client management and technical project delivery.  

WHO YOU ARE

As a successful candidate you will have proven experience in significant transport and roads projects, coupled with local government understanding and strong knowledge of local Government standards and project processes. Ideally, you will have experience in Senior Design Delivery, Design Management, Project Management and/or Contract Administration roles, leading multi-disciplinary teams in design and construction technical oversight for significant transport infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with key clients and provide technical expertise for mid- sized projects, while playing a key role in business development and repeat business. As a senior member of the Gold Coast team you will also provide confident technical input and project advice for colleagues and juniors across multidisciplinary projects and business lines.

The successful candidate will have;

  • Prior experience in managing and coordinating across multiple internal and external stakeholder groups (Directors, Managers, Clients, Sub-contractors and Consultancies).
  • Ability to drive and organise varied project outcomes across multi-discipline engineering/design teams.
  • Targeted project development strategy focused on continued growth of current business relationships.
  • High quality technical and non-technical report writing.
  • Experience with TMR planning and design, understanding of TMR standards and processes.
  • Commercial/contractual management of projects on behalf of the Consultant.
