What you need to know...

  • permanent full time - 76 hours per fortnight
  • salary - $49,267 - $58,752 per annum, plus superannuation
  • a 9 day fortnight
  • location - Various
  • the opportunity to accrue time in lieu
  • the opportunity to 'purchase' leave

About the role

Are you looking for an opportunity ‘to work in a road maintenance team to deliver infrastructure valued by the community’? Do you like a variety of work across a wide geographic area?  If you are interested in being part of our road maintenance team, apply to join Clarence Valley Council’s Civil Services team for the opportunity to grow your skills in one of the most scenic, beautiful and geographically diverse areas of New South Wales.

We are looking for three water cart operators, one each at Koolkhan, South Grafton and Townsend depots. This role requires a heavy rigid licence and the ability to drive a manual gear box. This position is located at Council's Koolkhan, South Grafton and Townsend Depots, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.

A probation period applies to this position.
