What you need to know...

  • permanent full time - 76 hours per fortnight
  • salary - $54,919 - $65,492 per annum, plus superannuation
  • a 9 day fortnight
  • location - South Grafton/Townsend
  • the opportunity to accrue time in lieu
  • the opportunity to 'purchase' leave

About the role

Are you looking for an opportunity ‘to lead a road construction team to deliver infrastructure valued by the community’? Do you like a variety of work across a wide geographic area?  If you are interested in leading a road construction team, apply to join Clarence Valley Council’s Civil Services team for the opportunity to grow your skills in one of the most scenic, beautiful and geographically diverse areas of New South Wales.

We are looking for a leader with experience in road construction that is also willing to work collaboratively and has an enthusiastic attitude. This role is responsible for the day to day work of their team and requires a good understanding of work planning, cost tracking, quality verification, safety and environmental issues.

This position is located at Council's Rushforth Road Works Depot x 1 & Townsend Depot x 1, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.

A probation period applies to this position.
