Engineer - Water

Calibre Group is a diversified Professional Services and Construction specialist. We provide a broad scope of engineering, consulting, construction, project delivery and management services across Australia and New Zealand.

This role will work closely with our Urban Development team on a variety of Urban projects. Our Urban Development project portfolio spans master planned communities, large-scale subdivisions, medium-density townhouses, retirement villages, industrial, commercial, civic and public infrastructure projects. Our clients are varied and diverse and include developers looking to maximise their land’s development, government agencies creating or improving public infrastructure and community spaces, and institutional and corporate owners expanding their portfolio or refurbishing existing assets.

Day to day you will;

  • Deliver Drainage strategies and detail designs for Urban Development and related infrastructure projects
  • Prepare stormwater management plans and reports
  • Foster relationships with current and potential clients
  • Assist in mentoring and developing other members of the team.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or other relevant qualification)
  • Demonstrated experience working on Urban Development projects (ideally greenfield subdivision projects or related infrastructure)
  • Competent in 12D, AutoCAD, MUSIC, Tuflow, HECRAS and Rorb
  • A thorough understanding of the Melbourne Water standards
  • The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
