Manager of Works

Located on the South Coast of Western Australia, the Shire of Jerramungup is renowned for its pristine beaches around Bremer Bay, vibrant communities and biodiversity hotspots. The Shire is strategically located between Albany and Esperance and is 440 kilometres South East of Perth.

The Shire requires a new Manager of Works to join the Executive Management Team to build upon past success and guide the Shire through the next phase of development and growth. The preferred candidate will be a natural leader, excellent communicator and demonstrate strong civil works skills to enable them to deliver the Shire’s infrastructure and maintenance programs.

The position will be offered on a performance based contract of up to five years with an attractive remuneration package which includes a base salary range of $95,000 – $120,000, generous superannuation, rent free executive housing in Jerramungup, utility subsidy, professional development, private use of a Council vehicle and 5 weeks annual leave.
