About the opportunity

Maribyrnong City Council is undergoing significant change in population growth, redevelopment, and a transitioning economy is leading to an influx of new residents, businesses and opportunities. Maribyrnong is becoming a sought after residential area and a destination for foodies.

Our Regulatory Services Department requires an individual who is committed to providing high quality specialist knowledge in the assessment and maintenance of Ticket/Meter machine technologies that will best meet current and future parking operational requirements.

About you

You must have proven experience in effectively diagnosing equipment faults, identifying and implementing solutions.

Qualifications or equivalent experience in electronics, electro technology or similar field with a specialisation in communications or computers is highly desirable. Previous experience in maintenance of Pay Stations will be considered an advantage. You must have previous customer service experience within a diverse community, and the ability to build strong working relationships.

To be successful in this role, you will need sound judgement and decision making skills.
