Engineering Surveyor

  • Salary range of $58k to $64k + Super

  • Other conditions as outlined in the NSW Local Government (State) Award 2017

  • 35-hour work week with the opportunity to have Rostered Days Off

Coffs Harbour City Council has been working hard over a number of years to make sure that the organisation is financially sustainable going into the future. This is being addressed in a multi-layered approach, which includes improving efficiencies and reducing operating expenditure costs. We've also been looking at ways that we can maximise our commercial operations through strategies such as strong in-house design capabilities.

The role of Engineering Surveyor is to

  • Prepare detailed engineering and cadastral surveys for projects requested by the Team Leader Survey and Design.

  • Prepare designs and engineering drawings for minor engineering projects to appropriate engineering standards

  • Demonstrate a commitment to Councils core values and promote the image of Council as an efficient organisation

What you will need

  • A diploma in Surveying, Civil Construction (design) or equivalent

  • 3 to 5 years solid project experience in survey work

Additional Requirements

You may be required to undertake pre-employment screening including but not limited to behaviour and skills assessment, medical screening and alcohol & drug testing.
