What does the job look like?

Linfox Retail business unit is seeking an IT Coordinator to facilitate and coordinate assets for servicing & maintenance between Linfox subcontractors & fleet managers on a key customer contract. This role will be the key relationship between Linfox and a key national retail customer with respect to Handheld Compliance.

Key areas:

  • Install and configure software and hardware including devices, network logins and so on.
  • Support or train personnel responsible for systems and networks and provide advice on the most suitable IT choices.
  • Facilitate the interaction between end users and higher level support
  • Own Handheld Compliance for each state, investigating failures and devising plans to reach contractual targets within timeframes, developing trends and having conversations with contractors reiterating the message and purpose of correct device use. 
  • Coordinate with Fleet Managers and facilitate the transportation of new and second-hand fleet equipment to and from the designated locations across Australia.
  • Identify and understand customer needs, demands, and challenges regarding devices & app and maintenance issues. 

Are you the one?

To be successful in this role, you will posses strong IT acumen, a proven track record of stakeholder management, and the ability to maintain the link between end users and higher-level support.  You can demonstrate:

  • Experience in movement and coordination of the movement of fleet equipment
  • Experience in managing special projects with complex logistical requirements
  • Excellent customer experience and ability to engage with people across all parts of the business
  • Proven track record of effectively interacting with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated problem solving capabilities, with the ability to apply logic, sound decision making, coupled with a pragmatic approach to delivering value 
  • Experience with the Google Suite of programs desired
