Darebin City Council is looking for a ‘WSUD Support Engineer / WSUD Officer’ to join our Assets & Capital Delivery and Statutory Planning teams on a full time basis for a period of two years.


The successful applicant will provide technical support regarding development and implementation of WSUD engineering initiatives and assessment of planning permit applications regarding ESD water requirements.


The position is being joint funded by Melbourne Water as part of the Living Rivers Fund and is focused on improving environmental water management outcomes in the Darebin area.

The successful applicant will possess:
• A tertiary qualification in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related discipline) and/or relevant experience in the local government environment.
• A current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
