An exciting permanent opportunity exists for a Weighbridge Operator to join our Waste Disposal Team on a part time basis at our Stonnington Waste Transfer Station.
In this position, you will be responsible for providing critical information and guidance to Council staff and the general public in the safe and correct operation of the Waste Transfer Station.
As the successful candidate you will have excellent verbal communication skills to provide a great service to customers and to work effectively with management, staff and customers. Additionally, you will have knowledge of Manual Handling Techniques and Occupational Health and Safety Standards and the ability to apply first aid. This position will also require experience in accurate cash processing, reconciliation and balancing of cash drawers.
