Moreland City Council is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Certificated Gardener who enjoys contact with the community and working with a dynamic team to look after Council's Parks and Gardens.

Key aspects of this role include the maintenance of landscapes throughout the Moreland Municipality.

The successful candidate will have completed a Trade Certificate and relevant practical open space maintenance experience, demonstrated competence in all facets of horticulture for parks and garden maintenance purposes, demonstrated ability to use horticultural machinery including ride-on mowers, brush cutters, blower and chainsaws. 

A demonstrated ability to use agricultural chemicals, a demonstrated ability to work as a part of a team and to operate in a safe and competent manner. A current Victorian Drivers Licence is required, and Medium Rigid Level or equivalent would be highly regarded.
