Arrow Energy is an integrated coal seam gas (CSG) company that explores and develops gas fields, produces and sells CSG and generates electricity.

Arrow produces CSG from fields in the Surat Basin in southern Queensland and the Bowen Basin in central Queensland. We have been safely and sustainably developing CSG since 2000 and supplying it commercially since 2004.

We own one of Queensland's largest power stations, Braemar 2 near Dalby, and we have interests in two others, giving us enough generation capacity to power around 800,000 homes. Arrow is owned by a joint venture company between Shell and PetroChina.

Reporting to the Project Manager – Greenfield Facilities, you will assist the Project Manager - Greenfield Facilities to achieve effective delivery of the Inlet Processing Facilities project scope element of the Surat Gas Project (SGP).

In addition you will:  
  • Provide visible and clear HSSE leadership both in the office and when on site.
  • Manage project risks, ensuring threats are captured, evaluated and mitigating actions are taken to ensure delivery within agreed budget and schedule constraints.
  • Provide project engineering / project delivery practices to the IPF scopes of the Surat Gas Project, improving existing project delivery / work practices and driving standardisation scope where applicable.
  • Ensure specified quality, constructability, operability and cost effectiveness targets are achieved.
  • Manage contractor interfaces to ensure efficient Project Delivery.
  • Coordinate delivery of Project accountabilities with Arrow Energy Off-plot Team.
  To be successful in the role, you will have:  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated success in project management working on major complex upstream oil & gas projects
  • Proven implicit understanding of project execution essential.
  • Ability to apply HSE principles across all project activities.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiations with contractors.
  • Proven understanding of the impact of strategic considerations on business decisions and project execution.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
