About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity to lead, guide and transform the organisational training function at Powerlink.

You will provide strategic and operational leadership to proactively identify, coordinate and deliver organisational, technical and compliance-related training for all Powerlink employees and contractors, playing a key role in driving our People and Culture experience.

Partnering with business leaders and operational experts, you will lead the design of training solutions and programs, prepare delivery plans and ensure the effective delivery of the training solutions and programs. You will also oversee the organisational Graduate, Apprentice and Development programs.

You will take initiative to identify training and learning needs that will facilitate the readiness and smooth delivery of organisational-wide change programs and continuous capability uplifts.

About you

This role will call upon your ability to apply your leadership skills to lead a diverse team, driving continuous improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities to drive future efficiencies.

With a long-term, strategic focus, you have had prior success in partnering with senior leaders and building strong collaborative relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Ideally, you will have gained a wealth of experience working within a blue-collar, highly technical workforce in a complex organisational environment, such as the Electrical industry, where you have developed an understanding of compliance and learning requirements.
