Aurecon and battery storage

At Aurecon, we are passionate about playing a leading role in the transformation of the electricity sector and the decarbonisation of industry.

We have a deep understanding of the solutions and pathways that are required to achieve this once in a lifetime transformation of the energy industry.

A key technology focus is large-scale battery storage. Aurecon has already built a considerable legacy in this space, including on the nation’s largest operating projects; the Hornsdale Power Reserve and Victorian Big Battery. In Queensland alone, we are the now the technical advisor / Owners Engineer across several large battery projects, working with both private developers and each of the QLD Government Owned (Power Gen) Corporations to successfully achieve their ambitious battery storage goals.

Our QLD Energy team is playing a leading role in the ramp up of QLD’s battery storage deployment, supporting many projects in other regions too.

We are looking to grow our QLD based battery storage team, with positions available for the right candidates from mid-level through to Principal. You would join a dynamic and industry leading team in this field, with the opportunity to work on a range of projects, throughout various stages of development through to execution.
