What will you do?

In this position you will join our Energy & Industrial business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients. With focus across a range of major to mid-sized rail projects, we are actively recruiting for those who are passionate about working collaboratively and strengthening their technical expertise.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world's economic development and, it's the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life'.

• Actively contribute to the development of Aurecon's Rail function through your passion for eminence in your field
• Lead a team of like-minded electrical professionals to develop their potential and deliver work to client's satisfaction.
• Engaging with and advising clients, working collaboratively across Aurecon teams and desire to pursue new ways of working, delivering complex projects
• Identifying and managing risks associated with the design delivery of traction power systems, ensuring a risk-based approach is adhered to and mitigations undertaken
• Providing technical advice and support to project teams in a multi-disciplinary, complex project environment

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will also have:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering preferably with Chartered status
• Extensive electrical experience preferably in the rail industry
• Experience with the design of high voltage and traction power systems, such as distribution substations, traction substations, as well as earthing & bonding systems
• Solid networks in the industry to be able to execute strategy, drive business development and contribute to winning work
• Strong leadership skills to manage a team of Electrical Engineers
