What will you do?

In this position you will join our Energy business, where you will play an integral part in transforming Australia power generation system. You will have the opportunity to work on some of the largest power projects in Australia including solar, wind, battery and gas generation projects and transmission and traction project.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

• Lead a team of civil/structural team to deliver projects
• Developing and reviewing civil and structural calculations, drawings, specifications and other design documentation.
• Site inspections for compliance with design and standards and identification of issues and risks
• Apply a working knowledge of relevant engineering legislation and standards as they apply to projects
• Prepare concept designs and resource assessments for renewable energy projects
• We know today’s complex challenges can only be solved through bringing together diverse teams of people from across our business, so there will be opportunities for you to apply your skills and creativity to projects in other geographies and markets

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. With a relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, proven experience in a similar lead position and the ability to play a lead role, you will be ready to join a close-knit team of multi-disciplinary professionals. Those with current CPEng will be viewed favourably, as will those candidates with experience across; roads, airports, subdivisions and other general civil projects.
